This event has been held for the past nine years as a charity event that benefits the girls’ track team at El Paso High School.
Once you reach the finish line, warm up with hot cocoa and tamales. Runners are encouraged to wear Santa hats, and if you’re in the mood to go all out, you can dress up as Santa or one of his elves and put yourself in the running to win a $50 gift card. There is a $30 entry fee for the run, but the cost is only $25 if you sign up before Dec. 16.
