2020 Acura RLX | Fox Acura of El Paso in El Paso, TXDoes the thought of the luxurious 2020 Acura RLX appeal to you? There are two different RLX trims for you to explore: we break them down for you here!

RLX Precision All-Wheel Steer

The standard front-wheel-drive RLX features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that generates 310 horsepower. You get 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, and the engine works with a 10-speed automatic transmission to give you a smooth ride. Once you settle into your sedan, you’ll find a leather interior with power-adjustable seats that include heat for your comfort — perfect on a cold day. There are also wood-grain and metallic elements in the trim work to add to the luxurious feel of the vehicle.

Your center console features lighting as well as a smartphone storage tray with access to the USB charging ports. The three-zone automatic climate control lets you and your passengers adjust the temperature inside the car to their comfort. The steering wheel is power-adjustable for your pleasure. The trunk of the traditional RLX features 15 cubic feet of space.

RLX Sport Hybrid SH AWD

The Sport Hybrid features the same powertrain used in a variety of race cars. It uses three electric motors set up to generate a combined 377 horsepower. The traditional engine is a 3.5-liter V-6 that gives you 28 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. It works with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Thanks to its motor setup, the trunk is slightly smaller in the hybrid model at only 12 cubic feet.

Features on Both

Both models of the 2020 RLX include a number of the same features. All trims also include a power sunroof. The ambient inside lighting lets you set the mood as you drive. It also gives you a chance to check your gauges while your passengers rest. The infotainment system on both vehicles includes a 14-speaker ELS audio system, and navigation is also standard. The system works with a rotary dial.

Several safety features are also in both cars. The adaptive cruise control system lets you set your cruise speed and then automatically adjusts it to traffic. If the road is congested, it will slow you down until the road opens up again. Once the traffic clears, it automatically returns you to the set speed. The lane-departure warning alerts you if the car begins to drift over painted lane markings without using your turn signal. The lane-keeping assist helps you stay centered in your lane so you can focus on the road ahead of you.

Avoid any potential crashes with the forward-collision warning system. It uses sensors in the front of the car to alert you if something or someone is in front of you at low speeds, giving you enough time to react before any impact.
