This classy bar and restaurant has trivia nights and live music throughout the week. Keep your eyes peeled for country music night, which changes each week. It’s a great spot to come with friends or for a date night and enjoy some great live tunes. The cocktails are excellent, and the food is great. And, it’s all done at a really reasonable price.
2. Bowie Feathers
Bowie Feathers is a retro-style bar with big boots and beautiful cocktails. The bar is upstairs, and downstairs is where you’ll find the live music. Like most music venues in El Paso, every night is something different. Some nights you can enjoy ’80s classics and the next night is all about country music. Start your evening upstairs and head down for the evening enjoyment when it starts at around 8 p.m.
3. Speaking Rock
Speaking Rock Entertainment Center is a live music venue that has nightly shows throughout the year. It’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it prides itself on showing off some of the best local talents in El Paso. You can catch plenty of country music here throughout the week.
In addition to having top-class bands, it also has a full-service bar and restaurant, a cafe, and over 50 televisions to watch the stage from wherever you’re seated.
4. McKelligon Canyon
The McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater is a stunning outdoor music venue in El Paso. Throughout the summer you can enjoy country music at the Cool Canyon Nights festival. Entry is free, and the whole area is surrounded by food trucks and bar carts. It’s one of the most beautiful places to enjoy a concert during the warm summer months.
5. Abraham Chavez Theater
This downtown theater is one of the best live music venues in the region. It’s also one of the most recognizable buildings in the city with its sombrero-shaped roof atop the three-story building.
You’ll find everything from big names to small local bands playing here. Tons of country singers and bands come to the theater; you just have to keep your eyes peeled for tickets. The prices vary depending on what’s on. In addition to the live music, the Abraham Chavez Theater also has dance shows, plays, and comedy acts throughout the year.
El Paso is a great city for all types of live music, especially country music. Every night of the week, you’re sure to find somewhere to sit back and enjoy it.
