These community partners created the golf tournament as a fundraiser to support the Village Vibes Music Festival. As Keep Vinton Beautiful is an environmental non-profit organization, the proceeds from both the Village Vibes Golf Tournament and the Village Vibes Music Festival will help pay for a new learning center and community garden in the village of Vinton. The community garden and learning center will be in the center of Vinton on four acres of land. The community garden will produce fresh fruits and vegetables for the Vinton residents. Local farmers will be able to make a living by growing produce and local residents and students can learn about the environment at the learning center. The Village Vibes Golf Tournament is on June 2, at 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vinton will hold the event at the Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course. The event costs $150 for an individual and $500 for teams. Boarder City Game Convention 2017 The Boarder City Game Convention is a tabletop gaming convention in El Paso. This is a three-day event occurring from June 23 to June 25. Each day, the convention will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a great event for seasoned gamers, casual gamers, and those who are simply interested in learning more about tabletop gaming. The Three Wizard of the Moustache, LLC runs this convention. The festivals in El Paso are a great way to have a great time and connect with other people within the community.
