L & J Cafe L & J Cafe has been open since 1927 and flavorfully links together El Paso's past and present. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Friday and for brunch, lunch, and dinner Saturday and Sunday. L & J Cafe's menu includes appetizers, soups, taco and flauta plates, enchilada plates, burritos, Mexican specialties, and more. We all enjoy going to a great restaurant for lunch or dinner. Sometimes, however, you want the food without going out and getting it. Fortunately, in El Paso, TX, we have no shortage of excellent delivery restaurants! Whether you're looking for Mexican, Chinese, pizza, or any of a host of other delivery food, we've got a delivery option for it – these are a few of our favorites! Carnitas Queretaro Carnitas is a family-owned Mexican restaurant. They serve authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. They've grown to four restaurants in El Paso in the last 20 years. Their success is based on using the freshest ingredients and a reputation for quality food. They're open from 8 am to 9 pm daily, so you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner delivered. more When we order, we like the tampiquena arrachera, with premium skirt steak, tomato, onion, chile, cheese, red cheese enchiladas, and rice and beans. Another favorite item is their awesome mil amores salad, with cranberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, and cheddar cheese on mixed greens with a raspberry vinaigrette or a honey and mustard dressing. You can order delivery on their website or by phone. They can also provide delivery from their restaurants if you have a Grubhub account. Soya Restaurant Soya's is very non-descript when you see it from the outside, but they make the best Chinese food in town. They've been in business for many years and are known for their extremely large portions of well-prepared and delicately flavorful Chinese food. Their kung pao chicken is a firm local favorite. They're open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday, so you're covered if you'd like Chinese during most of the week. Their menu includes beef, chicken, and shrimp dishes with steamed or fried rice. You can also substitute noodles for the rice if you prefer. Our favorite delivery order is their delicious hot and sour soup as an appetizer, followed by Mongolian beef with fried rice. Soya's delivery can be ordered by phone or online, and they also have delivery by Grubhub as an option. The Pizza Joint Pizza Joint first opened in 2017 and has opened two additional restaurants since then. Their pizzas are New York style, but with a thin, light crust. Our town isn't really big on pizza, but we do enjoy our friendly local Pizza Joint! Their prices are reasonable, they offer 16" and 20" pizzas, and their ingredients are fresh. Their menu has nine specialty pizzas and eight standard pizzas. We like the Olympus, with feta, red onions, kalamata olives, sundried tomato, and roasted garlic. If you don't fancy pizza, they also offer hot wings and salads. They close by 9 pm most of the week, so you won’t be able to enjoy any late-night fares – but you can earlier in the evening! They can deliver if you order online, and you can also order via ChowNow. Some days, you simply don’t want to cook – and thanks to these delicious places in El Paso, you can instead have scrumptious meals delivered straight to your home!
