MDX
The base MDX is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that makes 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with a 10-speed auto and front-wheel drive, and AWD is available. The exterior features 19-inch wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, and a panoramic moonroof. AcuraWatch is also standard.
The base has a leatherette-trimmed interior, 12-way power front seats with heating, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There’s a dual-screen setup featuring a 12.3-inch center display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
MDX Technology Package
The Technology Package offers leather upholstery with contrast stitching, LED lighting, and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D premium audio system. 20-inch machine-finished are standard, and there are safety add-ons like low-speed braking control and parking sensors.
A-Spec Package
Moving up, the A-Spec Package comes standard with all-wheel drive. It features gloss black accents, 20-inch wheels, and LED fog lights. The athletic design continues inside with a flat-bottom steering wheel, metal paddle shifters, and metal sport pedals.
The seats are made of premium leather and Ultrasuede with contrast stitching. The front seats are heated and ventilated, and there’s a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D Signature Edition audio system.
Advance Package
The Advance Package offers 20-inch wheels, an AWD drivetrain, and LED lights on the outer door handles. It comes with roof rails and a power liftgate with hands-free access and walk-away close. Inside, we have leather seats with contrast stitching and 16-way power-adjustable front seats.
The steering wheel and second-row seats are now heated. Adding to the impressive tech setup is a 10.5-inch head-up display that projects key vehicle info onto the windshield while driving.
Type S
The MDX Type S is all about raw power and thrill. It is equipped with a 3L turbocharged V6 that makes 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. It comes with all-wheel drive, 21-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, Type S badging, and quad exhaust tips.
Type S has an ultra-refined interior that features leather and Ultrasuede-trimmed seats with contrast stitching. You also get a leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel and stainless-steel pedals.
Type S Advance
Type S Advance comes with the turbocharged V6 engine, AWD, and black 20-inch wheels. It has a leather-trimmed interior, a heated steering wheel, and 16-way power-adjustable front seats with massage function. Audio quality is amazing thanks to the ELS Studio 3D Signature Edition system with 25 speakers.
