The rear bumper showcases matching LED Chicane taillights, while higher trims add LED fog lights and LED door-handle lighting. The side-view mirrors feature integrated LED turn signals, heating capabilities, and a reverse gear tilt-down function that improves visibility by angling the mirrors downward when the MDX is in reverse.

The panoramic moonroof includes a convenient tilt-and-slide function, and the rear liftgate features a power-lifting mechanism for effortless operation. Both the i-VTEC valvetrain and the engine idle-stop system reduce emissions while maximizing efficiency.
Front-wheel drive is standard, with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive available as an option on the base model. This full-time AWD system delivers class-leading traction and performance by monitoring driving conditions and distributing power to each wheel as needed. The base model comes standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission and sequential paddle shifters.
