2021 Acura RDX

Technically, the RDX only has one trim level but different packages are offered, including Standard, Technology Package, A-Spec Package, and Advance Package. This SUV features an attention-getting diamond pentagon grille that gives way to a dynamically shaped body and finishes with dual exhaust and dragon tail LED-illuminated taillights. The A-Spec package offers dark chrome and lighting details, while the Advance Package features rain-sensing windshield wipers. Both the A-Spec and Advance also feature LED fog lights.

The 2021 Acura RDX comes with one engine choice, a direct-injected 16-valve, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine creates 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The powerful turbocharged engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission that offers a manual mode using the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The RDX is available in either front-wheel drive or super handling all-wheel drive (SH-AWD). SH-AWD continuously redirects power based on weight distribution, driver input, traction, and other environmental factors. The 2021 RDX also offers four dynamic drive modes: comfort, snow, sport, and sport+. Drive mode allows you to chose your driving style to match the road conditions.

The interior of the RDX is equal parts roomy and refined. Acura has used high-grade materials throughout the entire cabin, including brushed aluminum and natural olive ash burl wood. Seats are made of supple Milano leather that can also be equipped with heating and cooling. Ambient light, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and electronic gear selector round out the premium details.

In new vehicles, technology is at the forefront, and the 2021 Acura RDX delivers. Included standard is Apple CarPlay integration and Android Auto integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and over-the-air updates to keep the software current with the latest version. All the driving information is displayed on the 7-inch multi-information display, while the Advance package adds a 10.5-inch head-up display. The hub of the system is a 10.2 inch HD dual-content center display controlled by the True Touchpad Interface located in the center console area.

All packages feature AcuraWatch, which is a suite of driver-assisting technologies and safety features. Part of this is the blind spot information system that offers continual monitoring behind and to the side of your vehicle, alerting you of any nearby vehicles so you can confidently change lanes. While in reverse, the rear cross-traffic monitor uses radar to alert you of any vehicles approaching from the side.

Auto high-beam headlights automatically dim the lights when approached by another vehicle. All packages come standard with the multi-view rear camera with dynamic guidelines, which allows three different views. The Advanced package offers the Surround-view, which shows a complete 360-degree display of your surroundings. An advanced airbag system will protect you in case of a collision.
